Le quartier d'Hietzing (13ème arrondissement) était le lieu de résidence de nombreux personnages célèbres et importants, tels que Johann Strauss, Gustav Klimt et Egon Schiele. Il offre également un nombre important de points de vue : le Château de Schönbrunn (ancienne résidence d'été de la famille impériale et site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO), le Lainzer Tiergarten et des bâtiments conçus par Otto Wagner et Adolf Loos. L'hôtel se situe également à deux pas de “Maxingstraße 18”, où habitait Johann Strauss. C'est dans cette maison qu'il a composé quelques-unes des ses œuvres les plus célèbres, comme par exemple "La Chauve-Souris". À quelques encablures, vous pourrez voir et même visiter l'église Maria Hietzing. La Altgasse, une des plus anciennes rues d'Hietzing, est connue pour ses nombreuses boutiques d'antiquaires et d'artisans.
